Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy

At Laura Simmons Haircare, we want you to feel confident in your purchase decisions. This policy outlines your options when placing an order, and your rights to cancel in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.

1. Purchase Options

All products are available to purchase directly through our website. We accept most major debit and credit cards, as well as other secure payment options displayed at checkout.

Once an order has been placed and payment confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email.

2. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at info@laurasimmons.co.uk.

If your order has not yet been processed, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

3. Cancelling After Dispatch (Right to Cancel)

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods — for any reason — provided the products are unused and unopened.

To cancel under this right:

  • You must contact us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order

  • Items must be returned to us unused, unopened, and in their original condition and packaging

  • You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or sent in error

Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we will process your refund within 7 working days.

4. Items That Cannot Be Cancelled or Returned

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or cancellations for:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with

  • Any item not in its original condition or outside the 14-day cancellation window

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty or damaged upon arrival.

5. How to Cancel

To request a cancellation or return, email us at info@laurasimmons.co.uk with:

  • Your name and order number

  • Reason for cancellation

  • Whether the item has been received and if it will be returned
